COMPANY BACKGROUND
 
 

Mr. Johan Seegers and The Thuso Trust established KHUTHELE RISK CONSULTANT (PTY) LTD in July 2003. To broaden the interest of “Black” people further, the Directors made a significant interest in the company available to “Black” employees by means of an Employee Trust. Mr J Seegers serves as Chief Executive Officer. Mr Seegers acquired the interest of The Thuso Trust in August 2005. The Employee Share Trust holds 26% of the shares and voting rights in the company and has appointed Mr Albert Mosomane as Director to represent their interest on the Board of Directors.

KHUTHELE RISK CONSULTANTS (PTY) LTD is a specialist Broad-based Black Economic Empowerment Consulting and Rating Company. In order to achieve meaningful transformation of the economy of South Africa, KHUTHELE has embarked on an aggressive acquisition campaign in the field of non-core services to Building Owners and Property Managers. As part of the acquisition campaign we acquired SANMAC MULTI SERVICES, a company specialising in contract cleaning and related services for the last 29 years, on 1 November 2004.

The stated objective of the Company is to identify, develop and ensure transfer of skills, to BEE entrepreneurs. To achieve real, tangible transformation, 26% Shares in the Holding Company was transferred to an Employee Share Trust. Mr Johan Seegers holds 74% shares. The Company also complies with all the other criteria on the BEE Balanced Scorecard. KHUTHELE RISK CONSULTANTS (PTY) LTD achieved a BEE rating in excess of 80%.

  SANMAC MULTI SERVICES has been in operation for over 29 years successfully in the Greater Johannesburg and Pretoria areas. As part of the acquisition program of KHUTHELE RISK CONSULTANTS (PTY) LTD, SANMAC was acquired in 2004 to form the basis for developing the Property Risk Management Division
   
QUALITY ASSURANCE
   
  SANMAC is committed to supplying service of the highest quality. We provide our clients with fully trained staff, ensuring that only the highest quality of service is delivered to our clients. Through a program of on-site training we ensure that the individual needs of each client is met or exceeded. Our Area Managers do regular site visits and will complete a quality assurance inspection at least once a month to ensure that only the highest standards are maintained. Area managers will attend any periodic meetings that our client may require.
At SANMAC we believe in forming strategic partnerships with our clients. Our staff will work closely with your on-site personnel, forming a framework for communication throughout your facility. Our staff will report any defects or breach of security to your on-site personnel.
   
HUMAN RESOURCES
   
  The Company is currently pursuing the objectives and aims of the Employment Equity Act of 1998 as per Government Gazette 20626 and 19370. Our training is in line with the Unit Standards for The Cleaning Industry as generated by the Service Seta.
SANMAC complies with the following:
1. Wages are paid strictly as negotiated with the Unions and as per Government Gazette.
2. A 4% equal contribution to the Provident Fund.
3. We are fully compliant with the legislation on UIF, Workman’s Compensation and the Basic Conditions of Employment Act No 75 of 1997.
   
INSURANCE
   
  SANMAC carries all the necessary insurance required by law as well as Public Liability insurance up to R2, 000,000.
